I think one of the most amazing things (of the many amazing things) about the Rochester Teen Book Festival is the deep, underlying sense of community it promotes. It utilizes the library community of the Rochester community to rally the teen reading community to get a glimpse into the YA/middle grade community within the writing community. That’s a lot of communities...and it shows kids that being part of a community can help get them where they want to go...and that there are never more than six degrees of separation between them and what they may aspire to become.

The Greater Rochester Teen Book Festival is an exciting and free public celebration of reading. During the festival, photographs may be taken for personal or promotional purposes. In some cases, event staff may use photos or videos to promote this non profit event. Please contact TBF committee members with questions or concerns that you might have.
